Information for Speakers, Poster Presenters and Session Chairs

Welcome to the 10th ICGC. Here below you will find key information to help ensure a smooth experience for speakers, poster presenters and session chairs.

1. For Speakers (Plenary, Keynote, Invited, Oral)

Language: The official language is English.

Format: 16:9 PowerPoint format is recommended.

File submission: The organizing committee will provide a laptop, projector, microphone, laser pointer and other necessary equipment in the session room. We recommend that you arrive at the session venue 30 minutes before your scheduled session starts to upload your PowerPoint slides to the laptop. Staff or volunteers will be available on-site to assist. If you plan to use your personal laptop, please test it 30 minutes before session starts to avoid any technical issues.

Q&A part of your presentation: Please allow 2-5 minutes for audience questions at the end of your talk. Session chairs will moderate the Q&A.

2. For Poster Presenters

Language: he official language is English.

Dates: Poster sessions will be organized on two dates: October 19th and October 20th. Presenters should at least attend the session corresponding to the date of their presentation. Please refer to the program book for detailed poster arrangements.

Location: The poster sessions will take place in the foyer on the third floor of the Beijing International Convention Center.

Setup: Posters should be put up during the lunch breaks on October 19th or October 20th. The organizing committee will provide scissors and tape for your use. Staff or volunteers will be available on-site to assist.

Session time: Presenters are required to be available for discussion during the designated poster session times, which will follow the oral presentation sessions each day.

Poster size: The recommended size is 90 cm in width and 120 cm in height in portrait orientation. If you would like to use the conference poster template, click here to download.

3. For session chairs

Before the session: Arrive at the session room 30 minutes early to meet the presenters, ensure all presentations have been uploaded, and review the session schedule. Staff or volunteers will be available to assist with technical setup.

During the session: Introduce each speaker with a brief overview, including their name, affiliation, and talk title. Monitor the time strictly to ensure all presentations stay on schedule. Facilitate the Q&A session (2-5 minutes), guiding audience members to ask concise and relevant questions.

Technical issues: In the event of technical problems, immediately notify the technical staff on-site for assistance.
